Load Shedding means the suspension of the supply of electricity for a certain period. It has become a regular affair in our country. Load shedding is caused for different causes. The insufficient production of electricity in our country is the main cause of load shedding. Misuse of electricity is another cause. Illegal connection of electricity is also responsible for load shedding. On the other hand, government is not sincere to produce electricity proportion to our demand. So due to load shedding production in mills and factories decreases. Fresh food taken refrigerator gets rotten. Load shedding at night encourage the miscreants in there violent works. It also disturbs the study of the student. After all, load shedding affects the economy of our country. So our government should establish more plants and power house to solve this problem. Illegal connection and system loss should also be stopped.
Gender discrimination in Bangladesh begins at birth. In our country women are the worst suffers. Social prejudice and customs tends to degrade their positions. When a female child is born, it is not regarded as a happy event. She is not welcomed with the deep warmth of heart. Instead of being delighted the male members think that she has come to add to their misery. Even the mother of the female child is not welcomed cordially for giving birth to a female child. Rather she is held in great contempt. Obviously there are many reasons behind this social superstition. First of all is regarded as a liability to be got rid of as soon as possible. Her marriage drives her parents mad for our evil dowry system. Her parents try to find a husband for her even before she attains physical and mental maturity. Her marriage may cost her parents a heavy amount of money. Religious misinterpretation and social structure discourage often prevent girls from going to co-education schools. This problem cannot be solved overnight. To solve this problem our outlook towards the girl should be changed. We should realize that proper education and employment. They should be provided the same type of food as are given to male child. Early marriage should be stopped.

A street hawker is a person who moves from place to place to sell his goods. Generally, he leads a very simple life. He carries his goods on head. Sometimes he carries his goods in hand too. He is very cunning. We usually find him at street, railway station and bus stand. Sometimes, he comes in front of the house. He is generally seen in the morning. Sometimes he sells newspapers. Sometimes he also sells toys, fruits, clothes and vegetables etc. His main customers are children and women. He knows well how to attract the customers. He speaks in many ways to attract the customers. Sometimes he sings songs or plays on flute. A street hawker is very poor. He lives from hand to mouth. He works hard but he can’t get rid of his poor condition. He is really neglected in the society. We should respect to his hard labor.
